Job summary

Advocate Health's Pediatric Resource Team in Charlotte seeks a Resource Registered Nurse for floating to LCH, Cabarrus, University, Pineville, and Union facilities. This part-time role requires RN licensure with BLS, and offers responsibilities across clinical governance, patient care, and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will have BSN preferred, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of service.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols and procedures.
