Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Charlotte is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Resource Team. The role requires floating to multiple facilities in designated zones to support Med Surg units.

Typical schedule is full-time, 36 hours per week, with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Candidates must hold an RN license with BLS and be able to work across zones as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with multi-state compact or single-state privileges.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.
• Ability to float to facilities within the Charlotte zones as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care; engage patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions; adjust care plans and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and uphold safety culture.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Float to other units or facilities within the designated service area as needed.
