Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a detail-oriented accounting support specialist to assist the Pediatrics research operation with daily financial tasks.

You will process requisitions, enter data into the Marketplace system, generate purchase orders, and liaise with labs and vendors to ensure accurate invoices and contracts. This role requires at least a high school diploma and about two years of accounting experience; strong organizational skills and adherence to university

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• About 2 years accounting experience.
• Familiarity with purchasing and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions routed by labs for processing.
• Enter requisitions into Marketplace and monitor purchasing.
• Generate purchase orders for equipment.
• Process and track invoices, including blanket orders.
• Review travel advances and expense reports per guidelines.
