Job summary
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time work in our pediatric ambulatory surgery centers in Houston, TX. The RN will provide postoperative care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with dentists and anesthesiologists to ensure safe anesthesia care for pediatric patients.
Candidates should hold an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with preference given to those with perioperative or ICU nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience in perioperative or ICU nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
- Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
- Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
- Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
