Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Dallas is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time perioperative and post-anesthesia care. Join a close-knit team of dentists, anesthesiologists, and nurses delivering pediatric ambulatory surgery under general anesthesia.

You will assess patients in recovery, provide nursing care, monitor for complications, and document status. The role requires a nursing license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 60 days, and a commitment to safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia administered.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
