Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Radiographer I for overnight weekend coverage in Streeterville, Chicago. The role focuses on pediatric radiographic imaging with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.

The candidate will perform routine through research-based imaging, maintain equipment and documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required within one year of hire.
• IEMA licensure current.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proficiency in imaging software, EMR, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic pediatric procedures, including routine, complex, and research-based imaging.
• Verify and input patient demographics and exam data into imaging and EMR systems.
• Support operations with coverage for rotating shifts, on-call duties, holidays, PTO, and satellite locations.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain quality control and safety compliance per institutional guidelines.
