Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and XR imaging, ensuring image quality and patient safety. You will support students and staff, verify data accuracy, and participate in continuous quality improvement.

The role requires ARRT CT, CPR, and at least two years of radiology experience, with a flexible evening shift Fri–Sun. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver excellent pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification within one year of hire; must be maintained.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years radiology/CT/XR experience; IEMA licensure current.
• Bilingual helpful; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and XR imaging procedures per department standards.
• Produces examinations meeting image quality standards and submits for interpretation.
• Verifies patient demographics, clinical information, and technical results; data entry accuracy.
• Maintains knowledge of radiation safety and participates in quality control procedures.
• Collaborates with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care and throughput.
• Adheres to institutional policies and Joint Commission guidelines.
