Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification within one year of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current Illinois licensure (IEMA) and BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with imaging software, EMR, and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus; strong communication required.
• Ability to move up to 20 lbs regularly and assist with patient/equipment movement.

Responsibilities

• Perform general pediatric radiographic procedures, including complex and research-based imaging, ensuring safety and quality.
• Verify and input patient demographics, clinical data, and technical information into imaging systems and EMR.
• Provide coverage for rotating shifts, on-call duties, holidays, PTO, and satellite locations as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and department efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of modality-specific quality control and safety standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and Joint Commission patient safety goals.
