Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiography exams, ensuring image quality and patient safety. The role focuses on timely imaging, proper data entry, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 6:30p – 7a. Requires ARRT CT within one year, BLS, and at least two years of radiology experience; Illinois licensure; strong communication and ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT certification required within one year of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years radiology/CT/XR experience.
• Current IEMA licensure maintained.
• Excellent communication/listening skills; bilingual helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and XR imaging procedures according to department standards.
• Verifies patient demographics and clinical data for accuracy.
• Produces high-quality examinations for interpretation.
• Submits images for physician interpretation.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures and quality control.
