Qualifications

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
Licensed to practice physical therapy in Michigan.
Current CPR certification.
Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Responsibilities

Provides patient care within the scope of their license and in accordance with laws and regulations.
Evaluates patient condition and develops treatment goals with patient/family.
Establishes and implements written treatment plans and administers treatments.
Re-evaluates patient progress and revises plans as needed.
Documents patient status and progress per time standards and reimbursement guidelines.
Communicates with the team to integrate therapy with other patient care aspects.
