Qualifications

• Graduate of CAPTE Accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Licensed in Michigan
• Possesses and maintains CPR certification to meet department/program protocol.
• Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within the scope of license and regulation.
• Evaluates patient condition and establishes goals with patient and family.
• Develops written treatment plans and administers treatment.
• Delegates tasks to PT assistants and rehabilitation technicians as appropriate.
• Re-evaluates patient status and revises goals and plans as needed.
• Documents progress and participates in discharge planning and teaching.
