Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Physical Therapy Resident to provide clinical services across Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center, Spine Center, and Pain Center, with mentorship from Mary Free Bed staff. You will plan and execute PT treatments per Michigan requirements and contribute to teaching and Grand Rounds after program requirements.

Applicants should be in their final DPT year or licensed PT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAPTE Accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Licensed in Michigan.
• CPR certification maintained.
• Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within license scope and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluates patient condition and sets interdisciplinary treatment goals.
• Establishes and administers written treatment plans.
• Instructs patient and family on PT procedures and home program.
• Documents progress and discharge summaries per guidelines.
• Participates in discharge planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
