Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Worcester, MA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Early Intervention team. The role delivers home and community-based services to infants and toddlers 0-3, collaborating with families to tailor plans and meet developmental goals.

Responsibilities include IFSP development, progress documentation, and coordinated intervention planning, with a schedule that offers 20+ hours weekly and benefits. A MA PT license and pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the MA Board is required.
• One year of early intervention experience or pediatrics experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of client’s developmental status.
• Provide direct services and activities developmentally appropriate for children 0-3 and their families.
• Develop IFSP goals, objects, and strategies related to the child’s development.
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as appropriate.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three with delays.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Act as service coordinator for the family by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan.
