Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team serving the Arlington/Grand Prairie, Texas area. You will provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients, collaborate with families, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas PT or PTA license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular updates on goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build holistic plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and communicate changes to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy. (PT only)
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders. (PT only)
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
