Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team in the Austin, Texas area. You will provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients, build strong relationships with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Physical Therapist license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with automotive insurance
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using pediatric-appropriate standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Communicate regularly with families about goals and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and plan changes.
• Participate in team meetings to refine treatment strategies.
• Provide clinical supervision to PTAs per state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with state regulations and company policies
