Connect Pediatrics in the Garland/Richardson, Texas area is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients. You will implement treatment plans under physician orders and directly engage with families to update progress.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with PT Supervisor/team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
