Job summary

Connect Pediatrics in Denver, CO is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. You will provide in-home therapy for pediatric patients, perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests, and develop treatment plans aligned with physician orders.

Engage with families, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain thorough documentation. Texas PT license and current BLS/CPR are required; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Pediatric physical therapy experience or specialization.
  • Ability to perform pediatric evaluations using standardized tests.
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Experience coordinating with physicians and nurses.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
  • Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements
MUST have
  • A valid, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
  • Current BLS/CPR License
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
