Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide in-home physical therapy for children with special needs in Washington. The therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy while guiding families and coordinating with the care team.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a current state license, CPR certification, and have pediatric experience; home health experience is preferred. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, organize, and conduct pediatric physical therapy in home health.
• Direct patient and caregiver in tasks to restore or enhance performance.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services as needed.
• Maintain records and discharge planning with physician input.
• Support QA/QAPI initiatives and continuing education.
