Job summary

KidsCare Home Health seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver in-home therapy to children with special needs. The role involves evaluating patients, directing caregivers, and coordinating care within the home health setting.

You will contribute to a team focused on compassionate, ethical care. The position requires a Master\'s in Physical Therapy, a current state license, a valid driver license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional license is required.
• Valid state driver license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and caregiver training.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources as needed.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
