Job summary

Medcarepediatric in Baytown, TX is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat children, developing individualized plans of care and goals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and educate caregivers to support progress at home.

Flexibility is offered with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, plus a sign-on bonus and mentorship from experienced supervisors. Pediatric experience is preferred, bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required.

Pay

$60.00–$70.00 per hour
