Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Physical Therapist in Baytown, TX, to evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and independence. A Texas license (or eligibility) is required, with a preference for pediatric experience and bilingual Spanish speakers.

Flexible scheduling options include Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN, with opportunities for mentorship, supervision by experienced staff, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $60.00–$70.00 per hour
