Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one therapy in children's homes, daycares, and schools. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, individualized treatment, and thorough documentation while supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications include a Texas PT license or eligibility, graduate from an accredited PT program, and pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) is a plus but not required.

Physical Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Pay: $60.00–$70.00 per hour
