Top Dog Recruiting in Austin, TX seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and proper handling. Requires pediatric experience and certified phlebotomist with 2+ years of experience.

The role is on-site with standard hours and benefits available. Training and OSHA-regulated procedures will be followed, with opportunities to contribute to workflow improvements.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in your state.
• Minimum 6 months experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in phlebotomy is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with straight or butterfly needles.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and handle specimens per test order.
• Document maintenance data and decontamination as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Store specimens according to procedures and transport requirements.
• Ensure accuracy by matching requisitions to patient samples.
