Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Austin for a contract position with potential for permanence. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate patient data. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with benefits available.

The role requires pediatric experience (3–4 years) and certification. Experience in a fast-paced clinical lab is preferred. This contract could extend or convert based on performance.

Competenze

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrates technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Attends annual department trainings.
• Answer calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
