Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join the Inpatient Pharmacy team at the Arrowhead Campus.

This PRN, student-intern role provides hands-on pediatric hospital pharmacy experience under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. You will assist with preparation, dispensing, delivery of medications, and contribute to medication safety, reconciliation, and interprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing at a school or college of pharmacy.
• Anticipated graduation in 2029 or 2030.
• Licensure as Pharmacy Intern or Graduate Intern with Arizona State Board of Pharmacy may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas and restock cabinets.
• Ensure dose accuracy, appropriate substitutions, and documentation per policy.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to support safe drug therapy.
• Support quality improvement and process improvement initiatives in the pharmacy.
