Vanderbilt Health MCC Rx Services seeks a pharmacy student intern to support inpatient pediatric pharmacy at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. You will assist in preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision, answer phone requests, and help manage inventory.

• Only P1 students will be considered for this internship.
• Start date in December with onboarding over winter break based on availability.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with laws and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Operates hospital computer systems and utilizes technology.
