Shriners Children’s – Spokane is seeking an Operating Room/PACU RN to join the Perioperative team. This role provides care in the OR and PACU Phase I, supporting surgeons and anesthesiologists while upholding AORN standards for asepsis and infection control.
The position emphasizes pediatric perioperative nursing with a focus on teamwork, patient safety, and family-centered care. BSN preferred; WA RN license, BLS and PALS within 3 months of hire are required.

Shriners Children’s – Spokane is seeking an Operating Room/PACU RN to join the Perioperative team. This position provides care in both the OR and PACU Phase I of a patients’ surgical experience. The RN will function within the team by providing professional nursing care to patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised during and/or immediately after surgical or other invasive procedures. Provides support to Surgeon and the Anesthesiologist as needed during the intraoperative process. Utilizes clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and the nursing process to provide care to patients in the operating room and/or PACU. Uses the principles and guidelines of the AORN to ensure asepsis and infection control. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects.
The pay range for this position is $41.04-$70.35/hourly Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
