Job summary

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative to support Lake Barrington and Crystal Lake pediatrics clinics. The role focuses on scheduling, registration, coding and billing, with emphasis on timely payments and accurate patient records.

You will work 20 hours per week with shifts including evenings and Saturdays on a rotation, at sites open Mon-Thu 8:00-19:00, Fri 8:00-17:00, Sat 8:00-12:00 in Lake Barrington.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, high-quality patient services at Lake Barrington and Crystal Lake Peds clinics.
• Enter billing information at time of service and follow up on missing data.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist the clinical staff.
• Support providers and ensure a compassionate patient experience daily.
