Burg Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics in Utah is seeking a friendly Patient Coordinator to join our front office team. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferred.
• Patient coordination, scheduling, or customer service experience.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and a professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with children, teens, and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an important point of contact for patients and families while supporting the front office and clinical teams.
• Help ensure appointments are scheduled efficiently and patient information is accurate.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication throughout the care experience.
• Greet patients and families and create a warm, welcoming experience.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Manage reminders and maintain an efficient schedule.
• Check patients in/out and collect required paperwork and documentation.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Review treatment costs, financial options, and collect payments.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to support smooth patient flow.
• Assist with treatment plan scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and a clean front office environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and practice improvement initiatives.
