Job summary

Intermountain Primary Children’s at Lehi is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team, performing tasks as directed by licensed staff and potentially serving as Health Unit Coordinator. The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with RNs.

Shift is part-time (24 hrs/wk); requires CNA and BLS, with strong communication and computer skills. Compensation includes a coworker-focused benefits package in Utah.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, and hygiene.
• Report and record patient care findings in a timely manner.
• Monitor patients and respond to patient care needs.
• Collaborate with RN and health care team to ensure quality care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed.
• Foster a safe environment by following safety policies.
