Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to support the clinical team across the unit. You will deliver basic patient care, document findings, and collaborate with RNs and other staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications include current Utah CNA and BLS, strong communication, and computer literacy. This role involves 24 hours weekly on 12-hour shifts, with day and night options and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Utah or equivalent, with renewal before start date if expired.
• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and documentation ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, and daily comfort measures.
• Record and report patient data promptly to the care team.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as needed.
• Transport medications to the RN and coordinate with the health team.
• Assist with Health Unit Coordinator tasks such as phones and unit records.
• Follow care plans and ensure safety and compliance with standards.
