Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal nursing assistant program or CNA/MA education completed.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN degree with one clinical rotation completed at hire.
• One year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection and documentation of patient/family data.
• Obtain and document vital signs and notify supervisor of abnormal findings.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with the RN.
• Collaborate with multiple RNs to prioritize workload per patient/family needs.
• Assist in identifying patient/family response to care and contribute to the care plan.
• Maintain accountability for personal development and contribute to team goals.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and customer service to support unit goals.
• Undergo respiratory fit testing as part of safety standards.
