Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal nursing assistant educational program or CNA certification.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN degree program with one clinical rotation completed at hire.
• One year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collection and documentation of patient/family data.
• Obtain and document vital signs and notify RN of abnormal findings.
• Provide high-quality patient care in collaboration with the RN and patient/family.
• Collaborate with multiple RNs to prioritize workload based on patient/family needs.
• Assist in identifying patient/family response to care provided and update plan of care.
• Support development of the plan of care in partnership with the RN and team.
• Maintain accountability for personal development and contribute to team growth.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong communication with patients and staff.
• Support hospital/unit goals and participate in quality initiatives.
