Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, located in Madison Heights, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time roles in our pediatric ambulatory surgery settings. Join a close-knit clinical team including dentists and anesthesiologists to deliver safe, high-quality care under general anesthesia.

You will perform postoperative nursing care, assess patients in the recovery room, and monitor for complications while collaborating with the dental and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Knowledge of the nursing process and its application.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
Current ACLS and PALS certificates (within 60 days of hire).

Responsibilities

Perform nursing care for patients in the immediate postoperative/post-anesthesia period.
Assess and document patient status on arrival in the recovery room.
Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
Monitor patients and inform dentist or anesthetist of any observed complications.
