Zusammenfassung

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts to join our pediatric ambulatory surgery teams. You will provide care in the immediate postoperative period and in the recovery room, ensuring patient safety and comfort under anesthesia care principles.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to monitor patients, document findings, and respond promptly to any complications. This role requires current NJ?

Qualifikationen

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Current ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
