Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for outpatient rehabilitation services at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and state licensure, with a preference for 5+ years of experience. Experience in NICU or Special Care Nursery feeding is preferred.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available, and BLS is required. The senior clinician track may involve certification within 18 months and leadership responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and education requirements commensurate with graduation date.
• Speech Language Pathologist license issued in the practicing state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Certification within an area of practice within 18 months for senior clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations for diverse disorders.
• Establishes plan of care and implements individualized treatment; monitors outcomes.
• Completes discharge planning with home programs and family teaching; coordinates with community services.
• Maintains required documentation per department policy and accreditation standards.
• Acts as clinical resource and liaison to physicians and leadership; mentors staff.
