Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for the pediatric outpatient team in Libertyville, IL. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, following written plans of care and coordinating with physicians and staff.

You must hold a state IL license and CCC-SLP, with at least 1 year pediatric experience; BLS is required. This full-time role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for FT hire.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• IL Speech Language Pathologist license and CCC-SLP.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and conduct speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement written plans of care; monitor outcomes and adjust as needed.
• Complete documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Manage caseload, coordinate with team, and supervise junior staff or students as requested.
• Promote safety, infection control, and participate in quality improvement activities.
