Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for Dutchess County, NY. The role is part-time with potential for full-time or fee-for-service arrangements, and compensation is $90 per hour.

You will design and implement therapeutic interventions, administer evaluations, and collaborate with families, school teams, and supervisors. The position requires NY licensure, a degree in OT, and a passion for helping children to reach developmental goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
