Job summary

Family of Kidz in Dutchess County, NY is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a part-time role with potential to become full-time depending on caseload. Compensation is $90/hour with benefits for part-time staff. The role involves designing and implementing therapeutic interventions for children and conducting evaluations.

You will collaborate with families, school teams, and supervisors to monitor progress toward IFSP/IEP goals. NY OT license required; bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
