Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks an Occupational Therapist in Dutchess County, NY. The role offers part-time with possible fee-for-service or full-time potential, at a compensation of $90/hour. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic interventions, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with school teams and families.

Applicants must have an accredited OT degree and current NY OT license; bilingual skills are a plus. Benefits for 25+ hours/week include medical/dental/vision, FSA, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
