Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in orthopedics or hospital setting.
• Pediatric or general hospital experience desirable.
• Registration as Orthopedic Technologist is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Certified Orthopedic Technologist is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform cast application and removal.
• Apply and remove traction.
• Assist with fracture care and orthopedic procedures.
• Educate patients on injury care and equipment use.
• Prepare patients for examinations and handle supplies and equipment per policy.

Formation

2+ years related experience

Registered Orthopedic Technologist certification required

American Heart Association BLS certification required

Certified Orthopedic Technologist preferred
