• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to all orthopedic service staff members.
• Applies and maintains traction and other patient hardware systems.
• Works with patients and families on all aspects of care.
• Provides excellent service routinely in interactions with coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, and volunteers.
• Removes splints/casts at the end of treatment, as ordered.
• Practices proper safety techniques per hospital policies.
• Maintains Joint Commission readiness through routine environment checks.
• Performs patient intake including height/weight, vital signs, and intake questionnaires.
