Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Surgical Technician II for the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Los Angeles. The role supports nursing care and prepares pediatric surgical patients, passing instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies under the supervision of the circulating RN.

The ASC operates with 3 surgical rooms and a procedural room, focusing on same-day pediatric outpatient procedures. Candidates should have 2+ years OR experience and complete OR Technician training or equivalent,

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ Operating Room experience in a variety of surgical specialties.
• Effective communication and tact with patients.
• Completion of Operating room Technician Training Course or equivalent; current BLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.
• Pass instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies to surgical team.
• Work under the supervision of the circulating RN in the OR suite.
