Valley Children’s is seeking a Perioperative Technician to support our Pediatric Operating Rooms. You will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to prepare for procedures, maintain sterile conditions, and assist in delivering high-quality perioperative care.

The role emphasizes patient safety, data collection for assessments, and adherence to institutional policies within a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. is required.
• Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program is required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire or transfer is required.
• Minimum of six months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient/family care under physician and/or RN supervision.
• Assist with setting up for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure safety and quality during surgery.
