Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, Washington, is seeking a Perioperative Services Technician to support OR prep, assist during surgeries, and coordinate supplies across procedures. This role requires cooperation with nurses and physicians within a pediatric setting.

We require a high school diploma, CPR certification, and preference for OR experience and healthcare training. Evening shifts, 0.6 FTE, and a friendly pediatric team await.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Post-high school vocational training in a related health care field preferred.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years of recent patient care experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in an operating room environment preferred.
• Previous experience troubleshooting medical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR suite and equipment prior to surgeries.
• Provide assistance to the OR staff during surgeries/procedures.
• Coordinate all supplies and equipment and prioritize tasks under supervision.
