Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support pediatric intraoperative procedures in the Surgery department. The role involves maintaining sterile technique, preparing age-appropriate instrumentation and supplies, and collaborating with surgeons and the health care team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position is full-time (36 hours) with opportunities to work across main and south campuses, and may require on-call duties per departmental policy.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited surgical technnical school.
• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology or a high school diploma/GED with certification is required.
• Must graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgeon in the pediatric intraoperative phase following AORN and OSA standards.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare age-appropriate instrumentation and supplies for each procedure.
• Pass instrumentation and utilize physicians' preference cards during procedures.
• Collaborate with the health care team and participate in quality improvement activities.
