Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a Perioperative Technician to assist in the OR, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and specialty technicians to prepare for procedures and maintain patient safety.

You will collect data during assessments, support safe, high-quality care, and work within established policies and training requirements to ensure efficient operative services for our pediatric population.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required).
• Minimum six (6) months related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collect data pertinent to patient assessment in a systematic method.
• Adheres to safety standards identified within the institution to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery.
• The technician's practice is performed within the scope of training and in accordance with Valley Children's Healthcare policies.
