Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Functions in scrub role during surgical procedures and assists the surgeon and team.
• Collaborates with RN and physicians to plan patient care.
• Maintains a safe, organized, clean perioperative environment.
• Scrubs for routine and complex procedures with aseptic technique.
• Prepares and operates standard and specialized surgical equipment.
• Assists with patient transport and emergency situations as needed.
• Verifies medications and prepares sterile supplies for procedures.
• Participates in time-outs and follows hospital policies.
