Qualifications

• 1 year recent Cardiac / Open Heart experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assist in aseptic technique.
• Set up the sterile field and provide instruments/equipment to the surgeon.
• Label medications on the back table and prepare sterile dressings.
• Care for instruments and participate in sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Participate in sign in, timeout, and sign out procedures for each operation.
