Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the OR Peds Surgery team. You will support surgical procedures under surgeons and RNs, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument passing and specimen handling.

This day shift role includes on-call coverage, a 3‑month orientation with a 7am–3:30pm schedule, and a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology program accredited through CAAHEP or ABHES, or equivalent military program.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST or TS‑C) is acceptable for some routes.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize surgical supplies and equipment.
• Set up sterile fields and instrument tables; perform counts.
• Assist in draping patients and gowning the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout the procedure.
